Wanique Khemi-Tehuti Shabazz is a distinguished Meta-Physician and Community Activist, renowned for his significant contributions to peace advocacy and community development. Recognized as an “Ambassador for Peace” by The Interreligious and International Federation for World Peace, he has played a pivotal role in promoting harmony through his work with the Foundation for the Law of Time-Thirteen Moon Calendar Peace Change Movement.

Shabazz’s diverse heritage, with roots in both Trinidadian and Virgin Island lineages, enriches his perspective and fuels his commitment to fostering cultural understanding and unity. His efforts were acknowledged with the 2014 Caribbean-American Mover & Shakers honoree award by the Caribbean Media Network USA and the esteemed Malcolm X Awards from the Sankore African Study Circle.

A prolific writer, Shabazz has contributed to various publications, including “Conscious Hue-Niversal Living Magazine,” the Sevananda Food Cooperative newspaper, and Vision Magazine. He has also provided forewords for renowned authors, such as Queen Afua, a New York Times best-selling author and holistic health expert.

In 1992, Shabazz founded Melanin 6, Inc.™The Health Emporium©, offering transformative lectures, workshops, and personal life coaching focused on topics like post-traumatic slave stress disorder (PTSSD) and realignment with Natural Time.

Shabazz’s commitment to peace and cultural awareness culminated in the proclamation of ‘Global Peace Through Culture Day’ by the Atlanta City Council in 2005, commemorating the Day Out Of Time, in collaboration with the Law of Time Peace Change Movement and WRFG 89.3 FM radio.

With over 25 years of dedicated service, Shabazz has been an integral part of WRFG 89.3 FM, Atlanta’s Community Radio Station. His responsibilities include ensuring FCC compliance, setting station policies, and facilitating radio broadcast training and also serves as the Facilities Coordinator, He has also contributed his expertise to People TV in Atlanta as a former member of the Board of Directors.

Beyond his radio endeavors, Shabazz remains deeply engaged in community activism, bringing awareness to food justice and fairtrade using his vast governance experience as a former board member and chair of Sevananda Natural Food Coop. (www.sevananda.coop)

Currently, Shabazz serves as the Community High Priest (CHP) and share holder of the Indigenous Water Bank Cooperative (IWB.coop), embodying his commitment to community stability and well-being.
